Coronavirus: preventive measures taken by Veronafiere

Veronafiere's top priority is the safety and health of exhibitors, visitors, employees and collaborators

For this reason, Veronafiere is carefully monitoring developments as regards the COVID-19 virus, following the prevention guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health, the indications envisaged in the Ordinance issued by the Ministry of Health in agreement with the Veneto Region and related application clarifications.

In compliance with these guidelines, Veronafiere hereby advises all exhibitors, visitors, employees and collaborators to:

  • wash your hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water
  • use an alcohol-based disinfectant for your hands if soap and water are not available
  • avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
  • avoid close contact with people who are ill or affected
  • stay at home when you are affected or ill
  • always use disposable tissues
  • cover coughs and/or sneeze into a tissue
  • clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces

Veronafiere has installed dispensers with a water-alcohol solution based disinfectant for washing hands in all workplaces, bathrooms, corridors, common areas and reception areas which we invite you to use frequently. Dispensers have also been installed at various points throughout the Exhibition Centre.
Close attention to the hygiene of your hands is an essential aspect for all preventive action. Hand hygiene is easy to ensure and consequently a key element in preventing infection.

Veronafiere, in relation to these preventive measures and in agreement with the companies providing cleaning services, has upgraded cleaning activities and increased the frequency of all individual activities scheduled, with special sanitization procedures in all settings. In this regard, in its efforts to ensure the protection of the health of exhibitors, visitors, employees and collaborators, Veronafiere has implemented daily environmental sanitation procedures using ozone performed at night in all offices, common areas and exhibition halls.

As a precaution, specific cleaning measures have also been implemented in particularly busy areas such as entrances, escalators and lifts, as well as door handles and handrails.

In addition to routine Medical Healthcare facilities provided for all trade fair events, Veronafiere has upgraded safety and security services inside exhibition centre areas through the presence of a team of specialist doctors and nurses, following a specific health protocol signed by the operators providing this service. Security, police, fire brigade and para-medical staff are also in service in the main exhibition centre access areas.

The situation is carefully monitored by competent departments at Veronafiere which are in constant contact with Authorities and International Institutions for the management of this emergency. In the event of further new developments, Veronafiere will inform exhibitors and visitors of any additional corrective measures that may be implemented in the event of an increase in the level of attention decided by regional and/or national health authorities.
